The advantage of modular construction is relatively easy and quick expandability. With the 1blokki home hut (implemented in 2021), we created a 2blokki home by adding one module, with a 3-room layout. The attached drawings show the original state in black, with the red part indicating the extension. During implementation, we aimed for maximum efficiency and conservation. We removed and relocated the windows and entrance door from the original 1blokki and also utilized all the larch wood from the part of the facade that needed to be removed at the module junction.
