Modular extension of the ice rink

The incredible durability of shipping containers allows for a wide range of possibilities, as demonstrated by our recent project - the winter stadium extension. In the fall of 2022, the owner of a steel hall approached us with the idea of transforming it into a small winter stadium. Our role in this venture involved constructing an extension unit using three forty-foot containers.
This 92.2 m² unit now includes changing rooms, toilets, a kitchen, offices, and even a room for a Zamboni ice resurfacer. To keep the space well-insulated, we used mineral panels and covered the facade with new dark gray trapezoidal sheet. Inside, fire-resistant plasterboards line the walls, and the heated areas have vinyl flooring, while the garage area has rubber floors. For heating, we opted for electric heating panels. Additionally, we took on the project of reconstructing the steel roof of the original hall.
